Due to the nature of the fabric, special care must be taken to ensure its longevity. Firstly turn the flares inside-out and use a delicate wash cycle, or better yet wash by hand, with cold water and a mild detergent. Allow the garment to drip and hang dry. Do not iron over velvet.
